WHY IS THIS?
No matter how many blades a razor has they all share the same weakness. Take a look below at the familiar image of a multi-blade razor.
- What's happening is the very first blade is doing the greatest amount of work, ploughing it's way through all the hairs and skin particles. The other blades further back take progressively less load, so these "lazy blades" show minimal deterioration. Now, here's the solution, instead of throwing away costly good blades every time you change the razor cartridge why not make use of those blades, just like rotating the tires of an automobile? We have prototyped the "Hesketh 4x4" which allows the user to swap front to back blades, thereby rejuvenating the razor. The invention is patented in England and applied for in the USA. We think it's a great idea, we hope you do too!
